.35 Update,
.35 is coming along very soon, we are in our final testing stages so look for it
on our webpages in the coming week. Meanwhile, .4 is also going very well, here
is a sneak peak of the BMP2 skinned.
I´m looking to .35 patch its sounds good :-))

Here are some new screenshots!
At first, 2 early work in progress pics of the F15-C model, made by "SW-14"

At second a still in progress pic of the new T72, made by "CTSketch"!
The next 4 pics (uvw-unwrap Skin) w'll show you the new Mirage model,
made by "LinkA"!
And the last one is the first pic of the iraqi OSA boat, made by "Chippie"
+ a real pic!
Weapons: 2 AK-230 Dual Cannon (each one in the Front & Backsite), 4 Rocket

has posted some new in-game pics of the Stryker at their own site! So
have fun!

The DC team member "DiehardDanny" let you know, which things
are planned of the newcoming dc 0.4 version:

LCAC (ingame, issues, will be redone)

works, some already ingame like the tomahawk)

DesertCombat .35 is now available!
DesertCombat .35 is aimed as a patch release to .3, it adds mainly bugs fixes
and balancing from user feedback, we are listening to everything you are saying
and .35 is just that. .35 is not aimed at a huge vehicle release, that will come
in .4 but there are some cool new things in .35 such as a new weapons system.
Weapons are more accurate now when crouching or lying down, adding to realism.
New A-10 cluster bombs, new Iraq BRDM2 Spandrel tank killer as well as some new
hand weapons like the Iraq Anti personel mines and Stinger missles for those
pesky helicopters.
We also include a new DesertCombat map called LostVillage, it places US forces
in a small base outside a village controlled by Iraq, US needs to take control
of this town, but it wont be easy, the US is only armed with Blackhawk
helicopters so beware of the Iraqi stinger missles. Even if you do get down on
the ground, watch your 6, Iraqi's are everywhere..

DesertCombat team would like to annouce that we have got single player and co-op
modes working on Custom maps thanks to Rexman, Danny and AJ for pulling this
off..
These are the first custom maps for BF1942\DC to support these modes outside of
EA and DICE, good job team. I hope they do more
map for singelplay :-}}

docks and sniper spots.. Hmm I wonder what these big docks are for? I

This Weeks Featured Secret Weapon: The
Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind

With the exception of Top Secret documents in the hands of EA/DICE, little to no
information about the Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind can be found. What documention
exists, is sketchy and varies depending on the source. We did manage to get our
hands on the vehicle's technical specifications though.

The Assault Class gets an Edge, another new model/skin
of the DC Mod!
A new grenade launcher of the typ GP-30 attached to the AK-47
and will be an addition to the Assault Class (see the render shots),
which will be included in the next version of DC 0.35! The model was done by "SW-14"!
That's an excellent job and a great model of "SW-14"!

Updated model and skin the UH-60 for the upcoming .35 release.

New F-117 in game shots. This is one a beauty and will be feature in .4 for
special conflicts.

Featured Vehicle: German Sturmmorser
Tiger (Sturmtiger)

When the Germans needed a powerful field vehicle to destroy fortified
positions, the idea to merge a heavy 38cm naval mortar (used to bust
submarines) with a Tiger I tank chassis gave birth to the Sturmtiger.
The short-barreled mortar projector fired a huge 761 lb shell that traveled
up to 18,000 feet. Even more unique, the shell was a gas-propelled rocket
that had to be inserted into the barrel by a crane that was attached to the
vehicle. In October of 1943, the first prototype was shown and demonstrated
while Adolph Hitler and staff looked on.
Using damaged Tiger I tanks to create the vehicle since German forces
couldn't spare new tanks, the Sturmtiger's were manufactured and put to use
in the war, if only for a brief period.
Watch out for this rolling bunker buster.
